NO REFUND POLICY & LEAGUE TERMS
1. Binding Agreement
By registering your child for participation in MOUNTAIN TOP LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL ("the League"), you acknowledge and agree that all fees paid are non-refundable under any and all circumstances. This policy is legally binding and applies regardless of any situation, including but not limited to those outlined below.
2. No Refunds – No Exceptions
The League does not issue refunds, credits, or transfers for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Player Withdrawal – If a player voluntarily quits, loses interest, or decides not to participate after registration.
- Relocation – If a player or their family moves out of the area or is otherwise unable to attend practices or games.
- Medical Issues – If a player is injured, becomes ill, or has any other medical condition that prevents participation.
- Scheduling Conflicts – If the player or family has conflicts with practice/game schedules, school, or other activities.
- Dissatisfaction – If a player, parent, or guardian is unhappy with team placement, coaching decisions, league rules, or any aspect of the program.
- Weather or Acts of Nature – If games or practices are canceled or rescheduled due to weather, natural disasters, field conditions, or any unforeseen circumstances.
- League Modifications – If the League modifies schedules, rules, teams, or structure as deemed necessary.
- Disciplinary Actions – If a player is suspended, expelled, or removed from the League for violating conduct rules, safety policies, or any other League guidelines.
3. League Authority on Team Placement & Division Changes
The League reserves the sole and absolute right to assign, reassign, and adjust player team placements and divisions at its discretion. These decisions are made in the best interest of the League, player development, competitive balance, and overall program structure.
- Players may be moved to different teams or divisions at any time, including after initial team assignments.
- Requests for specific teams, coaches, or division placements are not guaranteed and will not be grounds for a refund.
- The League’s decision on placement is final and not subject to dispute.
4. Code of Conduct Policy
All players, parents, and spectators must adhere to the League’s Code of Conduct. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, including verbal abuse, harassment, fighting, unsportsmanlike conduct, or misconduct toward coaches, officials, players, or spectators, may result in suspension or removal from the League without a refund.
5. Player Commitment Policy
By registering, families agree that participation in practices and games is expected.
- Players who miss excessive practices or games may be removed from the roster at the League’s discretion.
- Lack of participation does not qualify for a refund.
6. Volunteer & Parent Involvement Policy
MOUNTAIN TOP LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL is a volunteer-based organization and relies on parent involvement.
- Parents acknowledge they may be required to assist with league functions, such as coaching, field preparation, or fundraising efforts.
- Refusal to participate in required volunteer duties does not qualify for a refund.
7. Uniform & Equipment Policy
- Registration fees cover standard uniforms; however, additional required equipment (e.g., cleats, gloves, bats, helmets) must be provided by parents.
- The League is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal equipment.
8. Injury & Liability Waiver
By registering, parents acknowledge that participation in baseball carries inherent risks, including injuries.
- The League is not liable for injuries sustained during practices, games, or other events.
- Parents waive any right to pursue legal action against the League, its volunteers, coaches, or officials.
9. Inclement Weather & Force Majeure Policy
- Games and practices may be canceled due to weather, field conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- The League is not responsible for rescheduling missed games, and no refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations beyond our control.
10. Sponsorship & Fundraising Policy
- Players and parents may be required to participate in League fundraising events.
- Failure to meet fundraising commitments may result in additional fees, which are non-refundable.
11. Payment & Financial Obligation Policy
- All registration fees must be paid in full before a player is eligible to participate.
- Any returned checks or chargebacks will result in a $35.00 administrative fee, and the player will not be allowed to participate until payment is resolved.
12. Legal Enforceability
By completing registration and submitting payment, the parent/guardian agrees that:
- This No Refund Policy is final, legally binding, and enforceable in any legal proceeding.
- No refunds, chargebacks, or financial disputes will be honored.
- The League has full authority to move your child to another team or division as it sees fit for the best interests of the League.
- They waive any right to dispute fees through a credit card company, bank, or legal claim.
- This policy applies regardless of whether or not the player participates in any games, practices, or League activities.
Final Acknowledgment
By registering your child, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies outlined in this document. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with registration.
